About the Motion Bro project

Motion Bro is a plugin for Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe Affter Effects.
It adds a virtual marketplace where different authors sell their music, presets and video effects.
The client can buy any preset pack from the internal shop or activate packs purchased from Envanto.
The plugin has several killer features, such as a Separate sound pack that changes the sounds of all compatible videos or searching for the desired effect across all installed packs.

Performance

Over 1000 autostart videos can be shown at one time.

• Videos can have any aspect ratio, so you cannot set CSS aspect-ratio or default proportions
• The size of the video can be changed by the user in the settings. And all 1000 videos should shrink/enlarge without lags
• Video playback speed can be changed by the user

Caching

The shop was made by a client on WP + WooCommerce. The plugin accesses it via an API. The server processes the request for 3-4 seconds. So I've implemented caching, which persists even after the plugin is reloaded.

Search through all the packs

The user can search for any effect in all packs at once.

The problem is searching through a huge number of highly nested elements.

Problem with settings: Settings have a bubble effect: if the video has no settings, take the category settings, if it has no settings, take the parent category settings, if it has no settings, take the pack settings. And all this should be found and output instantly
